O Fórum de Clérigos e Ministros Leigos da Diocese Anglicana do Recife, abaixo nominados, considerando o seu status especial de “Estado de Emergência” votado pela Plenária Diocesana de 02.12.2004, que, reconhecendo os vínculos históricos e constitucionais com a IEAB, suspende, por outro lado, o relacionamento com o seu atual estamento de poder, em razão de posicionamentos e ações que se chocam com a Revelação Bíblica e a sua Constituição e Cânones Gerais, atentando contra a identidade e a autonomia desta Diocese, e demanda do Arcebispo de Cantuária e dos Primazes da Comunhão Anglicana providências para que recebamos o status de “Supervisão Episcopal Primacial Adequada Alternativa com Jurisdição” de outra Província Anglicana;

Considerando as motivações subalternas, as graves irregularidades formais, a ausência de isenção e transparência do injusto e injustificado processo disciplinar movido contra o nosso Bispo Diocesano;

Resolve – e recomenda ao próximo Concílio Diocesano Extraordinário – rejeitar a Resolução 001/2005, do Primaz da IEAB, de 18.02.2005, continuando a reconhecer o Revmo. Dom Edward Robinson de Barros Cavalcanti como o seu Bispo Diocesano, e o pleno exercício do seu Ofício e Ministério, apelando, mais uma vez, ao Arcebispo de Cantuária e aos Primazes da Comunhão Anglicana para as mais urgentes providências, em resgate dos plenos direitos do nosso Bispo e do nosso Projeto de Igreja, Bíblico e Histórico.

The Forum of Clergy and Lay Readers in the Anglican Diocese of Recife, undersigned, considering their special “State of Emergency” status (voted by the Diocesan Assembly on 02/12/04), while recognizing its historical and constitutional bonds with the AECB, nevertheless suspends relations with its current power base, owing to its positions and actions which run contrary to Biblical Revelation and to its own Constitution and General Canons, in moves taken against the identity and autonomy of this Diocese, and strongly requests that the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Primates of the Anglican Communion take the necessary measures so as to effect “Alternative Adequate Episcopal Primatial Supervision with Jurisdiction” from another Anglican Province.

Considering the subalternate motives, the grave formal irregularities, and the absence of equilibrium and transparency in the unjust and unjustified disciplinary process against our Diocesan bishop, this Forum;

Resolves – and recommends to the next extraordinary meeting of the Diocesan Assembly that the Resolution 001/2005, of the Primate of the AECB, of 18/02/05, be rejected, continuing to recognise the Rt. Revd. D. Edward Robinson de Barros Cavalcanti as its Diocesan bishop, and the full exercise of his office and ministry, appealing, once again, to the Archbishop of Canterbury and to the Primates of the Anglican Communion to take the urgent measures necessary to rescue the full rights of our Bishop and our Church’s biblical and historical vision.
